Our Founders

John Leveris,

Founder and CEO

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Honors Degree with specialization in Animal Nutrition and Genetics from the University of Guelph 1982.

John has worked in agriculture and food for over 25 years and has spent the past 5 years involved in human and companion animal natural health and wellness ingredients and products. During his research John discovered scientific evidence that DHA & EPA marine origin Omega-3s, antioxidant phytonutrients, enzymes and probiotics along with other natural ingredients greatly improved a pets’ health and longevity. He also discovered that much of the established pet foods and ingredients used bad science, ineffective ingredients, and didn’t deliver on their promise of pet health.

Since that discovery, John and WellyTails mission has been to raise awareness about pet health and provide pet lovers and owners a very high quality, evidence based natural holistic dietary supplement for their pet family members.
